Play By The Rules

For the safety of its users, Sam's Space has implemented the following regulations to ensure your upmost safety and comfort whilst using the play equipment. To ensure safety for all of our guests, please ensure you follow the rules of play accordingly.

Whilst Sam's Space attempts to ensure the complete safety of our visitors, it is the responsibility of parents/guardians to supervise and accompany children on site, with a ratio of one adult for every six children over the age of five and one adult for every three children under five.

  • The parents/guardians must-
-remain in the building at all times
-observe the child/children to ensure they are capable of using the equipment safely
-explain the rules of play to the children and monitor their behaviour accordingly
-know where their children are and ensure the children know where they are at all times.

  • Parents/guardians know their child’s behaviour and capabilities best and so should ensure an appropriate level of supervision to reflect this.

  • All children should only use the facility when in the company of an adult.

  • Children remain the responsibility of a parent/guardian at all times.

  • Children should use the toilet and wash their hands before entering the play area.

  • Leave badges and jewellery with parents/guardians. Spectacles should only be worn if used with a retainer and shatterproof lenses.

  • Please remove shoes before entering the play area. Socks must be worn at all times.

  • In the event of any problem, please contact a member of staff.

  • Please do not play in front of slide exits.

  • Clothes with ropes and cords should not be worn in the play area. No sharp objects may be taken into the play area.

  • Fighting or bullying will not be tolerated. Staff reserve the right to ask customers to leave.

  • It is forbidden to climb on the netted walls or the system structure.

  • No food, drinks or chewing gum should be taken in to the play frame.

  • Children who are unwell should not enter the play area.

  • Balls or other objects should not be thrown at each other.

  • Strictly no smoking on the premises or within the Church boundaries.

  • Children must wear socks at all times whilst using any of the equipment.

  • Children are advised to wear long sleeves and long trousers or tights at all times to minimise the risk of personal injury.

  • Management reserve the right to refuse entry.

  • All height and age restrictions imposed by the management must be adhered to.

  • Parents/guardians must ensure that children do not become overheated.

  • Sam's Space reserves the right to restrict play sessions to 90mins during COVID restrictions. This will be communicated to guests at reception.

  • Abusive behaviour to Sam's Space staff from adults or children will not be tolerated.

  • All personal items and valuables should be left with parents/guardians.

  • Sam's Space cannot accept responsibility for theft.

  • Sam's Space encourages children to play, run free and explore in a safe and stimulating environment. As such, there are always inherent risks associated with children playing and having fun together. These include children being exposed to moderate physical activity, tripping, falling and bumping into fixed objects and other children. Sam's Space has taken every reasonable step to control these risks through design, maintenance and operation of the facility. However, it is impossible to eliminate such risks completely whilst providing a stimulating environment and parents/guardians must recognise and accept this risk.

  • Sam's Space reserves the right to alter times, prices, menus and equipment without prior notification.

  • No outside food or drinks to be consumed on the premises, excluding baby food.

Thank you in advance
